but if your school is teaching you good,you are understanding the concepts well,able to solve question.then there is no need of tution.but you have to strategize verywell,becuase with tution there is a driving force behind you who is keeping the targets for you like how to complete chapter,within what time and etc.but without tution you are on your own.

yes it is complusory because level of the questions in ICSE board are equivalent to state board inetrmediate level therefore it requires proper attention with proffessional teaching
