Hi!

It totally depends on your speed.

There is no restriction on the number of words.keep in mind-

Good content, enough content , correct tone and modulation and ofcourse grammatically correct.

These points must be kept in mind.

In my IELTS sessions, I make sure the candidates focus on these.... step by step we work on developing these skills....so that we can achieve the targetted band.

It is about fluency, which comes with good practice under correct guidance.

Best wishes.

You will have only 1 minute preparation time in speaking part 2 so do you think you will have time to count words so better focus on your fluency and preparation of the topic.

Hello,

There is no specification for the number of words to be spoken in the IELTS Speaking Test Part 2. The key is to focus on fluency and pronunciation. You can improve your fluency and pronunciation under good guidance. Secondly one should focus on learning functional language which is used to describe common grammar functions, such as talking about the past, present or future, giving your opinion, evaluating someone’s opinion and talking hypothetically.

Last but not the least learn to time yourself so you know how much you have to speak in 2 minutes. This can be attained under an experienced guidance.

Best Wishes!

u should have to work on grammar first. not to worry about the words. just try to do your cue card in sequence and most important one is eye contact and be comfortable with examiner.
