Hindi will be better to opt in class 9 compared to French because French will be entirely a new subject for us but Hindi we are studying since childhood. Class nine has vast syllabus which is very difficult to cover and on top of that if we take a new subject that we are not knowing then it will be a burden for us. Hindi since we know we are able to finish it off. So from my point of view Hindi will be much better than French. But if you have a will to learn French you can definitely take it but be ready for sparring at least two to three hours for French every day because learning a new subject takes time.
