And Hindustani is a mixture of both with no clear separating boundaries between it's Sanskrit based vocabulary and Persian based vocabulary.

Coming to Hindustani language, it is nothing but crafted literary form of Khari Boli dialect spoken in areas around Upper Doab region in Uttar Pradesh (Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur etc). it is certainly not an Indian language as far as being Indian means something adopted naturally, whole heartedly and universally throughout India, as it's base and mass is an engineered one after independence, not a natural one. The Hindi language is a direct descendant of Sanskrit and dates back to 769 AD. The language gained prominence over time, known initially as Old Hindi and spoken in the areas around Delhi. It is the earliest stage of the Delhi dialect, serving as the ancestor both for Modern Hindi and Urdu.
