Hi Manoj, Anyone can learn guitar with constant practise. Time required for learning guitar depends on individual effort and practise, on average you can learn from 6 to 12 months time.

With Regular practice and a Good instructor, in 2 Months time, you can start playing guitar pretty well !!! Its a bit difficult and tiresome. But, Do not give up !

It is not about learning. It is more about practicing. If you practice everyday for about an hour you will learn to play basic guitar in about a month which includes playing chords and switching between them.

Hi Manoj, join classes with a good teacher and if you practice 1 hr per day it will not take more than 2 months to go beyond beginner level.

Hi Manoj, It can take any time around 2 to 4 months to understand and play the basics in guitar. For that you also have to dedicate minimum 30 minutes of proper practice daily. And more importantly get a good teacher. I too am a professional guitar instructor. You can contact me. Thanks!

It takes average of 6 months of practicing. And yet there should be some dedication required to learn to play guitar .

The more you practice , the quicker you learn. On an average, half an hour of practice with good tuitions once a week should take about 6 months to be a decent guitarist.. Not pro.. That needs much more practice
