With the increase of literacy rate in India, the printing of small and cheap books started taking place. Publishers started producing cheap books and started selling them at crossroads. The rich people started setting up of Public libraries, special provisions were also done for those who could not read,so they can listen up to stories and folklore. Many of the people take books on very nominal fee from the book owners, because they are literate now and could read the books. Its their interest in literature which results the increase in publishing and printing of books.
